Current Events/Political Cartoons Information Page
Current Events and Political Cartoons are part of the requirements of this course. A current event worksheet has been attached to this page if you need to print one off, or there are copies available in the classroom. Make sure to print and attach the article you choose! When choosing a current event or political cartoon, please make sure it is recent, preferably within a week. Current event topics should be of statewide or national importance. Local issues, while important to us, are not what we are looking for in these analysis activities. We want you to go beyond your hometown, and learn about the happenings in our country or internationally. Sports, weather, car accidents, local crime, and local issues are all topics we need you to avoid for this assignment.
